VANS VAULT X PEANUTS SK8-HI LX
Collaborations aren't anything new. Back in 1983, when California's Camp Snoopy opened, they worked with Vans to make special editions of their shoes using custom-made prints. Style 38, as rocked by Tony Alva is another Vans classic of the highest order. Late '70's styling down to the 'jazz stripe' it represents Vans truly embracing the skate scene - the forefoot perforation is almost elegant, and despite the decades in between, it still holds up as a performance piece. Ultra-versatile, it has a great legacy in the US punk/hardcore scene alongside the skate stuff as evidence of the stylistic crossover going on in the '80's. These Vans Vault Peanuts versions of this shoe use a pattern that's taken from two patterns created for Camp Snoopy. Many partner projects make us say, "Good grief" but these don't. Vault keeps delivering great projects and these are no exception.
